The mission of the Junior Golf Committee is to enable the youth of our club to experience the great game of golf, through instruction, play, and competition.
To accomplish our mission, we have set Wednesday mornings aside as Junior Golf Day and the course is theirs. Medina Golf & Country Club's acclaimed program has groups of all ages and abilities, between the ages of 3 and 18. The program offers instructional sessions for the beginning golfer, to league play starting with 5 holes on the executive course through 18 hole on the championship course.
Juniors playing 18 holes can qualify for membership on the Medina Golf & Country Club Traveling Team which participates in the MGA's Junior Golf Program.
Ages: Open to Juniors age three (3) and to anyone who has not reached their 19th birthday before September 1 of the current golf year.

Golfers' Progression:
We reserve the right to change golfers' placement in a program either upward or downward as demonstrated by their ability. We want the junior to be comfortable in their program while maintaining the proper skill levels within the group.

Non-League Play:
Junior Golf children 12 and under, whose parents are golf members, are allowed to play on the Championship course, but must be accompanied by an adult. On the Executive course, children 6-10 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. All times indicated are for tee off from the first tee. Play may not be started from the 10th tee without permission from the Golf Shop.
 Please use good judgment when selecting a time to play golf with your children. Remember to avoid peak playing times as a courtesy to other golfing members.
Juniors using the practice area are asked to defer their space to adult golfers who are waiting to use the driving range.
Junior playing time is subject to review by the Golf Committee at any time during the season.

a successful Junior Golf Program. Instruction will be incorporated into each league day and is considered mandatory. Please report to the registration table 5 to 10 minutes before your session. |

MGA Junior Golf Traveling Team (to be determined):
The team is open to all 18 hole golfers. MGCC will field an Open Division Team and a Girls Division Team.
The team travels to area courses on Fridays. This is a great opportunity to play some of the finer golf courses in the Twin Cities Area.
Qualifying for the weekly event will take place during the prior Wednesday league and by attending mandatory weekly lessons.
Anyone interested in playing should notify the Junior Golf Traveling Committee chair.
