18-Hole Championship Golf Course

Medina Golf & Country Club is a first rate country club with all the golf components. Our Championship 18 hole course features larger than normal, undulating greens that challenge golfers of all abilities. Measuring over 6500 yards, and a course that can be stretched to over 7400 yards, the Championship course hosts yearly member events as well as some of the states' major championships.

However, don't let the length fool you as we are a proponent of the Tee It Forward Campaign and have multiple tee boxes to accommodate the beginning golfer as well as the most accomplished players. We utilize 10 minute tee time intervals which result in a pace of play of a maximum of 4 hours. Our course opens at 7:00 a.m. everyday.

9-Hole Executive Course

Our Executive 9 hole course is a great learning ground for juniors and all beginners while maintaining a challenging enough layout for families and all golfers. The "short course" has holes measuring from 70 yards all the way to 175 yards. NO tee times are necessary...

The practice facility at Medina Golf & Country Club has a large teeing area and can handle the longest of hitters. The facility has six target greens as well as a bunker that takes care of both short and long bunker shots. Wrapping up our practice areas are a chipping green, as well as TWO putting greens.

Teaching a complex game simply is not an easy task. In our sessions, we will focus on fundamental golf positions and moments in pre-swing and in-swing areas resulting in better golf motions and results.

I feel that the basis in the setup is most important: Grip, Stance, Address, Posture and check the backswing and the follow through. Tuning up the course management and mental side of this game is just as important. Old school ideas applied to the modern game of golf.

There are certain fundamentals that are present in the swings of good players: a sound grip, good balance and proper set-up. But, there are many ways to swing a golf club. Golf swings are as unique as a thumbprint.

Learning is a process. Growing as a golfer involves time, practice, learning and improving motor skills. But, that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun in the process! Golf has to be fun. Why else play?

One of the most important things in golf today is Club Fitting. Once the golfer has been properly fit we will address the basics of grip, aim, and set up.

All golfers do not have the same swing or habits. Through a series of lessons, my goal for the student is for them to be able to swing the club the same way on a more consistent basis.

Lessons

A great benefit of being a member at Medina Golf & Country Club is the availability of top PGA Professionals teaching and coaching golf in a variety of programs designed to fit any type of golfer.

Times of Play

Get Your Desired Start Time

In order to ensure that you have reserved time on the golf course, starting times are strongly recommended. All starting times are booked one week in advance and should include all of the players who will be in your group. Please check with the Golf Shop staff to get information regarding the ForeTees online tee time system. Our Club is beginning to get very busy at peak times so do not delay in booking your tee times in advance. Please note our tee time request forms are available in the Golf Shop for weekend morning play.

When booking your starting times, please indicate information regarding your needs for golf cars. Providing us with this information will allow us to properly prepare for your arrival. Starting times can be booked either in person or by telephone. The professional staff will be happy to assist any single player wishing to find a game.

The staff is happy to work with you to enable your group to play at the time desired and will do everything possible to meet those needs. We ask that you make sure to book your tee times with the proper amount of space you may need.

Five-somes are allowed provided they keep up with the pace of play. Five-somes with two or more guests must take golf cars. They must allow fast groups to play through.

We book tee-times every 10 minutes to ensure your pace of play.  Our course can be played under four hours!
